Victor says purchasing a green statement itself is a victorious show

Muscat: After five months of trying, Pakistani expat Abdul Qayoom had a lucky break when the green certificate he bought won OMR 10,000 at the green initiative O! Millionaire special draw held recently.

“Never give up in life. Today was my day, tomorrow could be yours,” advises an overwhelmed Abdul Qayoom after winning what he calls “huge money for me.”

“This is my life’s biggest breakthrough,” he adds.

Unable to believe the message which confirmed he had won; he bit his fingers to make sure he was not dreaming.

Abdul Qayoom first called his wife and then four children to confirm the good news.

“They were thrilled to hear that my green certificate was picked winner,” he says.

He plans to use the money to buy a plot and oasis park build a house in Pakistan since his family lives in a rented place.

“O! Millionaire environmental initiative draw makes people’s dream come true,” he says.

Abdul Qayoom who is a keen nature lover says, “I am pleased to support this wonderful initiative that aims to address ecological challenges and contribute to the country’s targets for environmental health and biodiversity.”

The Pakistani citizen who got to know of the great initiative through YouTube, urges everyone to participate by buying a green certificate and support a worthy environment dream that O! Millionaire aspires to achieve.

A green certificate, which participants purchase to support O! Millionaire’s tree-planting programme that forms the basis of Oasis Park, entitles them to an entry for a draw valued at over OMR 6,300,000. The certificate provides participants two chances to win – one through a raffle that pays out one winner OMR 10,000 every week and another through a draw that can bring them prizes valued at more than OMR 6,300,000. The draw is held every Thursday at 8 pm and should no grand prize winner be selected in a draw; a sum of OMR 50,000 will be added to the prize sum every week.
